Entry Level 3 Introduction to Hospitality and Catering
Overview
During this one year course you’ll learn the essentials of food hygiene, health and safety, food preparation and restaurant service.
You can expect real, hands-on experience, whilst working in the commercial kitchens and Vanilla Pod training restaurant.

Entry Requirements
- 16+ years old
- A genuine interest in hospitality and catering, cooking and food service
- Successful interview, satisfactory references.
Course Delivery
You will be continually assessed, through a combination of practical tasks, written assignments, and course booklets.
Progression Opportunities
Opportunities to progress on to Level 1 Diploma Professional Cookery and Catering and Level 2 Diploma Professional Cookery and Catering.
Alternatively, develop your experience and skills further with employment as a catering assistant or kitchen assistant.
Additional Information
You will be required to buy specialist uniform and equipment. (Approximately £250)
