PACE (Pre Access to College Education)

The PACE course is suitable for learners who are school leavers and who may be on the Autistic Spectrum (ASC) or who require help to develop social and communication skills.

The course offers learners an introduction to college with an opportunity to sample various vocational sessions and identify skills needed to progress onto Level 1 courses within the college. Specialist careers advisors will help you to select a suitable course. Learners will further develop essential skills (communication and numeracy) and also work towards gaining an OCR Entry 2/3 qualification in life skills.

On a termly basis students will have the choice to take part in a variety of taster options within the college, choosing from subjects such as engineering, art, hair and beauty, and sport.
