Enterprise winners Gower-bound

The winners of the Global Enterprise Week activities at Gower College Swansea will swap the classroom for the beautiful North Gower coast as part of their prize.

Shane Hannan, Max Collis and Elysha Keirl were named the winning students during the week-long event in November.

They will now enjoy an action packed day of adrenalin sports and activities designed to test their problem solving and team building skills.

“Shane took the top prize in the Picture Your Success competition after generating the most interest – likes, shares and comments – on social media,” says the college’s Enterprise Development Officer Ben Room. “Max and Elysha were the winners of Guess the Product, which asked students to guess the uses of various products and gadgets and suggest alternatives, putting their creativity and lateral thinking abilities to the test.”

GEW, which is funded by the Welsh Government, saw students across the college engaging in various challenges, meeting local entrepreneurs and enjoying workshops and trips.
