Skills for Industry @ Gower College Swansea
- Is your business located in South West Wales?
- Are you interested in developing your skills and / or those of your staff?
If so, you could benefit from the EU-funded Skills for Industry project, which will deliver free training and development opportunities across the area until August 2021 (Eligibility applies.)
Skills for Industry is an exciting project aimed at private, public and voluntary sector organisations in South West Wales. The project will provide an investment of more than £16m for the training and skills development of the local workforce. The project will run until August 2021 and will be fully-funded by the European Social Fund through the Welsh Government.
One of the most effective ways to improve business performance is to invest in your existing staff. We understand the impact that training can have on your budget particularly during tough economic times. The Skills for Industry project can help your business enhance the skill of its workforce and increase productivity.
With the support of ESF(European Social Fund) funding, further education colleges in Wales will now be offering local businesses accredited training and development qualifications for their staff, that are now 100% subsidised. Funding has allowed us to provide financial support to local employers within the region which makes it economically viable for all ambitious businesses (small, medium & large) to invest in training. As every successful business manager knows, a well-trained, competent and fully motivated work force is a huge asset to any organisation.
Gower College Swansea is working in partnership with Neath Port Talbot College, Pembrokeshire College, Coleg Ceredigion and Coleg Sir Gâr to deliver the Skills for Industry project.
