Yn ystod digwyddiad cystadleuaeth WorldSkills Kazan 2019 yn ddiweddar, o’r 19 o fedalau a enillwyd gan Team UK roedd dim llai na chwech ohonynt wedi dod o Gymru.

Ymhlith enillwyr y medalau roedd Collette Gorvett, a astudiodd Letygarwch ac Arlwyo yng Ngholeg Gŵyr Abertawe cyn cael ei chyflogi gan The Ritz yn Llundain. Roedd Collette wedi cystadlu yn y categori Gwasanaethau Bwyty, gan greu argraff ar y beirniaid gyda’i doniau gwneud moctêls, mise en place bwyty a bwyta mewn steil, i ennill Medaliwn Rhagoriaeth.
