Plumbing and Heating Foundation Apprenticeship NVQ

Course Overview

This apprenticeship will provide you with the minimum accepted qualifications within the industry. 

You will learn about the health and safety requirements governing plumbing and heating through relevant theory and practical work based training. 

You will also develop knowledge and gain the practical skills and science needed to work in the industry.

Entry Requirements

Entry will be based on a combination of GCSE passes, previous work experience within the plumbing, heating and gas or renewable energy industry , achievement on a relevant progression course and results of an online assessment – this will be discussed at an interview.  Maths and English at Level C or above would be preferable. 

Course Delivery

You will attend one day (or two evenings) in college and four days in the workplace. There are continuous assessments and exams
