Course Overview

This apprenticeship covers the essential knowledge and skills needed for a successful career in the domestic plumbing and heating industry. Areas of study include:

  • Health and safety
  • Domestic hot and cold water systems
  • Central heating systems
  • Sanitation systems
  • Environmental technologies
  • Gas safety.

Entry Requirements

A combination of GCSE passes, achievement of a relevant progression course and results of an online assessment. Maths and English at grade C or above would be preferable. You must be employed in a suitable role within the industry

Course Delivery

You will attend one day (or two evenings) in college and four days in the workplace. There are continuous assessments and exams
