Shanghai calling for electronics students
Four Gower College Swansea students have made it through to the WorldSkills UK national finals for Industrial Electronics, which take place at the NEC in November Rhys Watts, Liam Hughes, Ben Lewis and Nathan Evans are all on Electronic Engineering courses at the Tycoch Campus.15

Gower College Swansea exam results 2019
Students at Gower College Swansea are celebrating an overall A Level pass rate of 99%, with 1205 separate exam entries. Of these passes, 35% were at grades A*-A, 61% were at A*-B and 82% were at A*-C. The overall pass rate at AS Level was 92%, with 67% of those passes being grades A - C and 44% being grades A - B. There were 2447 separate exam entries for AS.01

Arrangements for the collection of 2019 certificates
If you are planning on picking up your exam results this week, please don't forget to bring some ID with you! Your student card is ideal but we can accept a passport or driving licence (with photo) We cannot issue results without your ID so it's really important to remember this16

Student’s surface pattern design shortlisted
A Gower College Swansea Foundation Degree Fashion and Textile Design student was recently shortlisted in the prestigious idott competition. Sheeza Ayub’s work was one of over 1000 individual entries submitted to the competition from art and design students based in the UK and across Europe.16

Farewell to the Class of 2019
Some of our departing international A level students recently attended a graduation lunch at Sketty Hall. The lunch was a celebration of the students time at the College and all guests enjoyed a traditional British meal. Our A2 students currently hold offers from 20 of the 24 Russell Group Universities, including Oxbridge.11

Historic Sketty Hall set to benefit from brand new renovation plans
Gower College Swansea’s Sketty Hall is set for renovation under proposed new development plans. The Grade II listed building, nestled in beautiful grounds close to Singleton Park, will be repurposed as a Business School, home to a wide range of professional courses as well as higher-level qualifications and degree apprenticeships.09
