Free activities and use of facilities at College Sport Centre

Gower College Swansea’s Sport Centre is opening its doors to the local community over the coming weeks. In the evenings and at weekends, visitors to the Sport Centre will be able to call in and use some of the facilities free of charge.

Creative skills under the spotlight for students

Students on a range of creative and visual arts courses at Gower College Swansea had a fantastic opportunity to meet with employers and university lecturers during the first ever Design 48 showcase, which was held at the Gorseinon and Llwyn y Bryn campuses. The idea behind Design 48 was developed by the College in partnership with Rachael Wheatley of Waters Creative.

Menopause training vest raises awareness of symptoms

Staff and students at Gower College Swansea were encouraged to get a little hot under the collar when they had an opportunity to try out a Menovest TM The Menovest TM is a menopause training tool, developed by Over The Bloody Moon, that has been specially designed by Thread Design to replicate the sensations a person feels when having a so-called menopausal ‘hot flush’.
