This course will encourage you to explore and experiment with a range of textiles techniques to manipulate the surface of the material. These can be used within fine art, fashion or interior textiles outcomes.
You will have access to our state-of-the-art fashion and textiles studios and equipment which includes a laser cutter, digital textiles printer and textiles design software. More traditional methods will also be explored through fabric manipulation techniques to create an innovative textiles final outcome.

Some sewing experience would be advantageous but not essential.
This course is workshop/studio based. The course is delivered through a range of practical workshops, three hours a week over 10 weeks, and is subject to continuous assessment.
There are several opportunities including other part time courses, Level 2 Art and Design, Level 3 Art and Design, Foundation Diploma Art and Design.
