Overview

This introductory course to editing digital images will encourage you to explore software to edit and manipulate images for their use as photography and/or for social media. Whether for an online business, your own social media platform or purely for pleasure you will gain valuable skills to support your needs.

Key information

No previous experience necessary, just an interest in the subject area. Learners would benefit from attending each term to build skills in preparation for the term two and term three courses, although this is not a barrier to attending each term as a standalone course.

This course is workshop/studio based. The course is delivered through a range of practical workshops - three hours a week over 10 weeks - and is subject to continuous assessment.

There are several opportunities including other part time courses, Level 2 Art and Design, Level 3 Art and Design, and the Foundation Diploma Art and Design.
