Art and Design (90 Credit Diploma 18+)

Course Overview

This is a brand new, one-year full time art and design course aimed at adult learners (aged 18+).

It follows the same format as our very successful full time Foundation Diploma in Art and Design and offers the same opportunity to experiment with a broad range of subjects and media within art and design. This will include life drawing, glass, textiles, photography, graphic design, painting, printmaking and digital skills.

On successful completion of the course you will achieve a qualification equivalent to one and a half A Levels.

Course Delivery

The course will run over two days and one evening (to a total of 12 hours) a week and starts at the end of September 2017. It runs for one year.

The days are Monday and Wednesday (9.30am – 3.30pm) with a Tuesday evening class (6pm – 8pm.)

 

Additional Information

You might be elibible to apply for both the Welsh Government Learning Grant Further Education and the college's Financial Contingency Fund to support you whilst you study.

There are NO tuition fees for the course.

There is a college enrolment fee of £40 which all new learners pay and a studio fee of £75 (this is covered by FCF if you are eligible). The one-off studio fee pays towards materials, trips, and visiting artists etc.
