Overview
This course is designed for cycling enthusiasts and aims to give a good level of mechanical ability to maintain a bicycle.
It will give you the confidence to carry out repairs and servicing whilst also teaching you when you need to see a more experienced trained technician.
This course includes:
- Headsets
- Bottom brackets
- Drive trains
- Gear set-up
- Brakes
- Hubs
- Tyres and tubes
Key information
No formal entry requirements.
This course is suitable for people who do not qualify for PLA funding. A fee of £200 is payable.

The course will be delivered in our new specialised facility over 2 days.
You could progress onto a formal Cytech Bike Maintenance qualification.
Bicycle and tools will be provided for the duration of the course.
