Introduction to Printmaking

Course Overview

Introduction to Printmaking is a ten week course where you will develop skills for printmaking using a range of different techniques and materials. 
The course will provide you with the skills to use monoprint, relief printing and screen printing techniques through a series of workshops and creative experimentation.  

You will record your ideas, inspiration and progress in the form of a journal or sketchbook.

Entry Requirements

No prior experience is necessary.

Course Delivery

The course is delivered through a series of classroom based workshops where you will be assessed continuously. You will be assessed based on the application of printmaking techniques demonstrated during the workshops and your ability to use the necessary tools and materials in a safe and appropriate way.

Progression Opportunities

As well as considering other part time course, there are several full time opportunities including Level 2 Art and Design, Level 3 Art and Design, Foundation Diploma Art and Design and FdA Fashion and Textile Design.
