Course Overview
The aim of this course is to allow learners to experience a wide range of music studio resources and techniques: sound recording, MIDI sequencing, sampling, and synthesis.
Classes will offer a workshop-based approach where learners will be encouraged to develop their own music compositions, and hopefully by the end they will have finished tracks to take away.
he course incorporates two Agored Level 1 Units: Music Sequencing - An Introduction (BRO301) and Sound and Music Recording Technology Skills (CAB642). It takes place on the Llwyn y Bryn campus in the newly-upgraded Mac-based computer suite and the newly rebuilt recording studio.
