his course will develop knowledge and skills to understand the structure of a fabric, cut out garment pieces, the meaning and how to transfer pattern symbols to fabric. You will develop pattern cutting knowledge to develop your own pattern and then construct a finished garment.
You will have access to our state-of-the-art fashion and textiles studios and equipment which includes a laser cutter, digital textiles printer and textiles design software.

No prior experience is necessary
This course is classroom based, for three hours a week and is subject to continuous assessment.
There are several opportunities including other part time courses or full time options such as Level 2 Art and Design, Level 3 Art and Design, Foundation Diploma Art and Design and FdA Fashion and Textile Design.
