This qualification is for candidates who work or want to develop skills and knowledge required for working in the health and social care sector. It allows candidates to learn, develop and practise the skills required for employment and/or career progression in the health and social care sector.
Each provides an introduction to working in the relevant area of health and social care. Units include:
- Awareness of equality, diversity and inclusion
- Introduction to the role of the social care worker
- Awareness of duty of care
