Overview

This VTCT (ITEC) Level 4 Certificate in Radio Frequency is an advanced therapy qualification aimed at Level 3 qualified practitioners aged 18 and over, who wish to add this therapy to their repertoire of treatments.

Modules covered include:

Principles and practice of non-medical aesthetic therapies
Advanced consultation for non-medical aesthetic therapies
Advanced skin care for non-medical aesthetic therapies
Provide radio frequency treatments

Throughout this qualification, learners will develop their knowledge and understanding of relevant anatomy and physiology, health and safety and skills to consult with and analyse clients whilst providing radio frequency treatments.

Key information

Learners are required to hold a traditional Level 3 Beauty Therapy Qualification that includes facial electrical and body electrical units and anatomy and physiology.

This course will be delivered for 5 hours, one day per week over 15 weeks where you will learn practical skills and the associated underpinning knowledge required for this course. You will be assessed in a number of ways which will include assignments, clinical case studies, external theory examinations and external practical examinations.

The main purpose of this qualification is to prepare learners for employment in the advanced non-medical aesthetic industry in radio frequency techniques or learners may choose to further develop their knowledge and and skills by completing the following qualifications:
