"On the Social Media for Small Business course, we covered a variety of topics such as website development, video creation/editing, and audio creation/editing. It didn't stop there; we were often asked what else we wanted to learn and then either taught more on that, guided in the right direction to ensure we got the most out of it for our businesses. In our plumbing company, we had thought about creating videos with easy tips and guides to fixing plumbing issues. However, I had no idea where to start.

Within a small space of time and digitally through Microsoft Teams, I was taught how to create a video and edit it using DaVinci Resolve.  We got to go into the Green Room at the College and record an audio clip about our business using a number of different microphones. We then went on to learn how to edit in Audacity to achieve a perfect piece of audio specifically related to our own business.

I will apply this knowledge to my business in the future, using audio and video created and edited by us! I hope to use this on all social media platforms and on our website too.

The tutor Chris was very supportive and willing to answer any questions at any time which meant we all had the opportunity to progress as much as we wanted to. I would recommend this course to people who want to utilise video footage within their company."
