This course will encourage you to explore and experiment with a range of sustainable textiles materials and techniques that can be used to upcycle unwanted garments or interiors. You will have access to our state-of-the-art fashion and textiles studios and equipment which includes a laser cutter, digital textiles printer and textiles design software.
More traditional methods will also be explored through fabric manipulation techniques to create an innovative fashion and textiles final outcome

This course is workshop/studio based. The course is delivered through a range of practical workshops - three hours a week over 20 weeks - and is subject to continuous assessment.
There are several opportunities including other part time courses, Level 2 Art and Design, Level 3 Art and Design, and the Foundation Diploma Art and Design.
