Course Overview

The aim of this course is to provide the learner with an understanding of substance misuse, the different types of drugs and the affects that they can cause.

Minimum age of learner is 16 years

Course Delivery

The learner will:

  • Know what is meant by substance misuse
  • Understand the effects of substance misuse

Assessment will be via written work.

Additional Information

Learners will attend college for five weeks at two hours a week
