Using Welsh in the College
It is the aim of the College to promote a Welsh dimension, nurture a Welsh ethos and support education and culture through the medium of Welsh. We are trying to make the Welsh language a natural part of the College, as it is in some areas of the city.
The Welsh Language Standards ensure that Welsh is treated as equal to English and that there are opportunities for you to use your Welsh whilst studying and using the College services.
We work with the Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol to create training and study opportunities in Welsh and to insire learners, students and apprentices to use the Welsh skills they have.We are grateful to the Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol for the investment and support. Studying through the medium of Welsh
There are Welsh medium modules in several learning areas and these are highlighted in the course descriptions. The hope is that this will develop in the near future. If you see this symbol there are Welsh speaking lecturers on that course.
