Overview

The ILM Level 4 qualification in Leadership and Management is suitable for new and aspiring head of departments, regional team leaders and other middle managers. The qualification enables learners to fully understand the role whilst gaining comprehensive business knowledge as well as the skills needed to lead at this level.

The qualification is available as a concise Award, a broader Certificate or as a comprehensive Diploma. 

Key information

The qualification has been designed for new and aspiring middle managers. 

Learners will be allocated a dedicated tutor/assessor, who will work closely with both learners and employer to ensure the units selected are suited to their individual roles, organisational priorities and meet the requirements of the qualification. Delivery can be remote, or the tutor/assessor can visit the learner every four to six weeks at a location convenient for both learner and assessor.

In collaboration with The Institute of Leadership, learners will receive access to The Institute’s studying membership. This membership provides access to a range of resources that will develop leadership skills, boost confidence and enhance the learning experience.
