Multiply is here! Gower College Swansea is proud to be offering completely free adult numeracy courses that are relevant to everyday life, and nothing like the old maths lectures that you remember!

Numeracy for Healthcare is a short course that will develop the maths skills for someone wanting to progress into a career within health.

Topics include:

  • Maths in the context of a health profession
  • Measurements
  • Fractions
  • Estimation
  • Ratios
  • Using a calculator efficiently to problem solve

The Multiply Project is fully funded by the UK Government through the Shared Prosperity Fund.

Key information

Eligibility for Multiply-funded courses is as follows:
•    Aged 19-or over
•    Living or working in Swansea.

Evidence of eligibility must be brought to the first lesson of your course. A list of accepted forms of evidence can be found here.

The course will be delivered in 3-hour sessions over 5 weeks at the Kingsway Centre.

There is no formal assessment for this course, evidence of learning achieved will be collected. This course is accredited by Agored.
