Overview

With the drive to eliminate single use plastics has come the opportunity to reduce our reliance on carrier bags – This course will help you develop the skills to manufacture your own tote bags which are designed and embellished to match your unique style and personality.

The course consists of 10 sessions all three hours in length and during this time you will learn how to make the template for your tote, you will have lots of opportunity to experiment with fabric paints and dyes along with sewing and embellishment techniques like patchwork, quilting, embroidery, and beading.

Don't worry, it won't be all hard work, there will be time for chats over cups of tea/coffee to get to know your fellow crafters and be inspired by the creative atmosphere.

By the end of the course you will have produced your very own tote, designed to your specifications which you can treasure forever. Not to mention the fact that you will have developed lots of new skills and made lots of new like-minded friends.
