It equips learners to use feedback to maintain and enhance digital products over time.

Key information

This course is ideal for individuals working in the public or private sector, who interact with a wide range of stakeholders inside and outside their digital and technical development teams.

It is suitable for those looking to develop their leadership and coordination skills in managing digital products.

Learners will be allocated a dedicated Tutor/Assessor, who will work closely with both the learner and employer to ensure the level selected is suited to individual roles and prior skills and knowledge.

Delivery is primarily remote via Microsoft Teams, with workplace visits and face-to-face sessions available if required. Dates and times for the training will be agreed between the learner and employer to ensure minimum disruption to the organisation.

Units

Learners will complete a set of mandatory units and select from a range of optional units to tailor the qualification to their role. Optional units may include topics such as:

  • Agile project management
  • User experience (UX) design
  • Data analysis and visualisation
  • Digital marketing and communication
  • Product lifecycle management.

Assessment

To successfully complete the qualification, learners will create a portfolio of evidence demonstrating their knowledge and skills. This will be reviewed during regular one to one meetings with Tutors/Assessors and used for assessment purposes.

Gower College Swansea utilises Smart Assessor, an online assessment management tool enabling provider, learner and employer to effectively track learner progress.
