Engineering is one of the fastest growing industry sectors in the world and the opportunities within it are limitless! Engineering is defined as the application of science and mathematics to solve problems.
There are opportunities for both academically minded students as well as those who are more practically gifted and prefer hands-on work.

- After school, you can choose a discipline to study at College, and specialise within that discipline when you progress into higher education or an apprenticeship.

EESW - Success for Electronics A Level students
A group of first year A Level Electronics students have won an Engineering Education Scheme Wales (EESW) award for their use of coding and IT.
The EESW Sixth Form project started in 1989 and students from all over Wales take part in this prestigious scheme which encourages them to consider a career in engineering. They are teamed with a professional engineer, and representatives from companies or universities to solve an engineering problem, come up with a solution, and build a prototype for their task.
