At College your support needs will be met by a team of people. Your personal support needs will be identified and your support may be in the classroom or delivered as an additional session that you attend with a Specialist Lecturer or Mentor.

Yes, if you want us to put support and/or exam access arrangements in place at Gower College Swansea. It is important to bring any documentation such as a Form 8 or Form 9 to evidence the Access Arrangements you had in school as these can roll over.
All campuses have a Learning Support Hub whereby there is a quiet area to work and to relax during your break times and lunch times. There are also a variety of clubs available.

An IDP Officer is a specialist lecturer who supports learners to develop learning independence. A Specialist Lecturer will introduce themselves to your group at the induction for each course. This is normally within your first week at the College.
Please let your school or local authority know that you wish to attend Gower College Swansea and ask them to send us a copy of your IDP/EHCP as soon as possible. Please invite us to your review meeting so we can advise and ensure you have the best support when you arrive at Gower College Swansea.
