Design 48

A series of talks and practical taster sessions, Design 48 was designed to inspire learners and boost their employability skills. It also aimed to raise their aspirations and awareness of the wide range of educational and career pathways available to them within the creative industries.

Trip to Toronto

Creative Media students recently enjoyed the trip of a lifetime to Humber College in Toronto. The trip was supported by Taith Funding and enabled six students to experience a week of cultural exchanges and sightseeing, and an opportunity to be taught and mentored by some of Humber College’s best academic staff.

 

Student’s work selected for London show

Level 3 Photography student Evangeline Roberts was selected to exhibit her work at Origins Creatives, taking place at the Mall Galleries, London. Evangeline’s submission, titled Say It With Flowers, caught the attention of UAL Awarding Body’s curator, Charlie Levine, amongst over 500 submissions.

It’s My Shout offers young people an invaluable opportunity to collaborate with industry professionals and gain an insight into the creative industries (lighting, sound, media production, hair and make up, and acting).
