Step into the fast‑growing world of Esports, where competitive gaming connects with real industry opportunity. This course offers a structured introduction to the global Esports sector, combining applied units in Sport and Business with practical experience in gaming environments. It is designed for learners who are passionate about games as well as those interested in exploring the wider professional landscape surrounding this rapidly expanding industry.

Throughout the programme, you will develop essential research skills, gain insight into how the Esports ecosystem operates, and build transferable skills valued across modern digital and creative industries. Learning is delivered through a blend of classroom teaching and hands‑on activities that strengthen both your strategic gameplay and your understanding of the business behind competitive gaming.

As part of the course, learners will have the opportunity to compete weekly in National Student Esports events across a range of live and online single‑ and multiplayer titles, including Valorant, Overwatch, League of Legends, and Rocket League. In addition to competitive play, the course includes enrichment opportunities such as visits to gaming festivals and talks from local and national Esports professionals, providing valuable industry context and inspiration.
