How to Apply

For School Leavers (16-18)
1

Choose your course

Think about the subjects you’re best at and what you enjoy studying. Some subjects are assessed by exams, others combine coursework and exams, so find the course that suits you best. Don’t forget to check the course entry requirements.

Apply for course

The earlier you apply, the more chance you have of securing a place on your first choice course. Once you’ve selected your course, click the Apply Now button on the course page and complete the online application form.

If you're applying for multiple courses, such as A Levels, you only need to click 'apply now' on one course page. You can then add all your chosen courses at the end of the application form.

You'll be asked to create an account, continue an application, or sign in to an existing account. If you're new to the College, or haven't studied with us recently, create an account using an email address you can access (please avoid using your Hwb school email). If you're a current student, you can sign in using your College ID and password.

3

College offer and interview

After you apply, you will be invited for an interview. We want to make sure that you have all the support you need throughout the application process and that you choose the right course for you. Our staff are available to answer any questions you may have about the course and the College.

4

Enrol

You’ll be invited to come into the College after you’ve finished your GCSE exams to enrol. Don’t worry if your GCSE results weren’t what you expected or needed to get on to your chosen course, keep your appointment and we can talk through your options. There is a course for everyone.

5

Start

Becoming a student starts with lots of activities to help you settle into College and make new friends. You’ll also meet your tutor, get your timetable and everything else you need to ensure your student journey starts smoothly!
