Course Overview

The engineering sector continues to suffer from a skills gap and needs to keep up with rapidly developing technologies. This EAL Level 2 Diploma in Engineering Technologies has been designed to give new entrants to the engineering sector the under-pinning knowledge and specific skills needed to meet the needs of modern mechanical and electrical engineering industries.

It includes a wide range of units so you can focus on your chosen career or area of interest.

Four GCSEs at grade D including mathematics and science

Course Delivery

The course, which is broadly equivalent to four GCSEs, has been designed with a wide range of units, so that learners can focus on their chosen career or area of interest.

The qualification structure is designed to give learners the opportunity to develop a range of skills and techniques, personal skills and attributes essential for successful performance in life.

While following a one year EAL programme, students will study a wide range of units, which affords them the opportunity to explore a range of engineering disciplines; this in turn enhances their career opportunities.
