Business with Technical Business Administration [Level 2 Certificates]

Course Overview

Delivery of this unique programme at Level 2 is undertaken by highly qualified lecturers who provide a programme which aims to emulate the real business world. This course is ideally suited for those who wish to develop an initial understanding of business administration, accounting, marketing and web design.

This is a one year programme combining two certificate qualifications that focus on how the business world develops, operates and responds to change. It also equips learners with the knowledge and understanding of the technical nature of business administration within the world of work.

Entry Requirements

Four D grades at GCSE or a Merit grade in the L1 Introductory Diploma in Business.


Course Delivery

The course is delivered through a range of practical assignments, visits and classroom based sessions. Assessment is through ongoing coursework and exams.

Level 2 Certificate in Business includes:

Level 2 Certificate in Business Administration includes:

  • Understanding Administrative Services (Exam)

  • Using Business Technology to Process and Communicate Information
  • Planning, Organising and Supporting Business Events

Progression Opportunities

Employment: The course will enhance learners' prospects of gaining entry onto an apprenticeship or work based NVQ within the business world.

Further Education: A Merit on this programme, including good attendance and a C grade in English, will allow learners to progress onto the BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Business.
