Business and Administration [Level 2 Certificate]

Course Overview

This course incorporates a BTEC qualification in administration and a Certificate in business.

This one year course covers the challenge and coninual change of the business world. You must be willing to explore new ideas and communicate them effectively, it also prepares you for the world of work.

It will offer you the opportunity to study a number of business functions including marketing, HR management, business planning, web design and ICT, with an emphasis on business administration.

Entry Requirements

One GCSE at grade C and three GCSEs at grade D, or a Pass on the L1 Introductory Diploma in Business.


Course Delivery

The course is delivered through a range of practical assignments, visits and classroom based sessions. Assessment is through ongoing coursework and exams.

Level 2 Certificate in Business includes:

Progression Opportunities

Employment: The course will enhance learners' prospects of gaining entry onto an apprenticeship or work based NVQ within the business world.

Further Education: A Merit on this programme, including good attendance and a C grade in English, will allow learners to progress onto the BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Business.
