Course Overview
This course is designed for students who have already obtained a HND, Foundation Degree or equivalent qualification. This top up will allow students to gain a full bachelor’s degree.
There are two pathways to choose from on the BA (Hons) Business Management (Top Up) course. You can either choose to specialise in Accounting or Marketing.The Accounting pathway serves as a great way to increase your employability with specialist accounting knowledge underpinned by vital business skills.The Marketing pathway offers insights into emerging issues in marketing and will give you the opportunity to critically examine marketing practice and its relevance in contemporary business.
Delivery of the course will take place via interactive seminars supported by online resources. Up to date, real life case studies will be used to help you learn and ensure your studies are as relevant as possible to the workplace.

Entry Requirements
Successful completion of a HND or equivalent qualification i.e. Foundation Degree
Course Delivery
Assessment will be via assignment, presentation, case study, examination and research projects.
Level 6 core modules (accounting and marketing pathways):
- Applied management
- Business research: principles and practice
- Management project
- Business strategy
Level 6 modules (accounting pathway):
- Principles of corporate finance
- Principles of accounting
Level 6 modules (marketing pathway):
- Excellence in customer service
- Omni-channel marketing strategy
Progression Opportunities
Postgraduate study such as the MBA at University of South Wales.
