Graduation Day of our International Students, Class of 2026, was a memorable occasion, filled with pride, celebration, and reminiscence. Hosted at Sketty Hall campus, the event brought together A2 students alongside some of their International Buddies to mark this important milestone in their academic journey.
The afternoon began with a delicious traditional roast dinner, offering students the chance to relax and reflection on their time at Gower College Swansea. The relaxed atmosphere set the tone for a celebration of achievement and community.
Head of International, Ruth Owen Lewis, delivered an inspiring speech, congratulating students on their hard work, resilience, and personal growth. Her words recognised not only academic success but also the courage and determination shown by students studying far from home. This was followed by Dean of Faculty, Jenny Hill, who echoed these sentiments in her own address before presenting each student with their graduation certificate.
Throughout the ceremony, there were plenty of smiles, as students celebrated both their accomplishments and the friendships they had formed. The event was a fitting tribute to the Class of 2026.
