Collaboration to strengthen client services

Gower College Swansea has purchased shares in one of Wales’ leading training and development providers, who operate across the UK in the delivery of business improvement and ‘Six Sigma’ programmes.

The College is now the majority shareholder of Track Training Limited - a long established and successful ‘Wales Fast Growth 50’ company with leading clients in England and Wales.

This exciting collaboration will allow the two organisations to share each other’s expertise whilst providing a wider range of high quality services including energy efficiency, engineering, management development, continuous improvement and Lean Sigma programmes.

“We are delighted to conclude this deal,” says Mark Jones, Principal of Gower College Swansea. “It will allow us to benefit from Track’s extensive commercial and business acumen while providing additional services which are of great benefit to both our existing and new clients.”

It is intended that Track Training Limited will continue to operate as a separate company and remain at their existing premises in Bridgend.

“Track Training has a strong brand and its business improvement training provision engages positively with UK industry,” adds Chairman Malcolm Sanders MBE. “We believe this latest development will have a positive impact on our work with our clients and partners and will allow Track to expand its product portfolio and further strengthen its position in the marketplace.”
