International schools on the horizon for College

Gower College Swansea recently welcomed Dr. Wen Cao - Dean of International at Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU) - who presented to senior managers and board members on the topic of K-12 international education in China.

"The College aims to establish an international school in China so it was an excellent opportunity to gain valuable insight from an organisation that has already established five international A Level schools in the region," says International Manager Kieran Keogh.

BFSU and Gower College Swansea have an existing educational partnership whereby BFSU sends cohorts of trainee teachers to participate on bespoke GCSE/A Level teacher training programmes. The College is expecting the next cohort in January 2019.
