West Glamorgan Swimming Gala success

Five students from the Gorseinon Campus of Gower College Swansea recently participated in the Urdd Regional Swimming Gala, which was held at the Dyfed Road Swimming Pool, Neath.

The results by race were:
Backstroke - 1st Jamie Richards, L3 Engineering
Individual Medley - 2nd Jamie Richards
Breaststroke - 1st Will Dwyer (A Levels) | 2nd Thomas Davies (A Levels)
Butterfly - 1st Callum Oates (A Levels) | 2nd Will Dwyer
Freestyle - 2nd Callum Oates | 4th Will Dwyer
Girls Freestyle - 2nd Fiona Millan (A Levels)
Freestyle Relay Boys - 1st
Medley Relay - 1st

“This has been the College’s best performance yet so we are delighted,” says Bilingual Champion Anna Davies. “The four boys will now take part in the national competition in Cardiff on 20 January 2019 so good luck to them all!”
