World renowned forensic dentist visits Gorseinon campus

His career has taken him around the world, working on cases as diverse and complex as the 2004 tsunami and the Fred West murder investigation.

However, forensic dentist Professor David Whittaker OBE took time out of his busy schedule this week to meet with A Level / BTEC STEM and medical tutorial students at Gower College Swansea.

“Professor Whittaker is in such high demand all over the world that we feel honoured and extremely lucky to have him visit us at the Gorseinon campus,” says lecturer Amy Herbert. “His talk on forensic dentistry was absolutely fascinating and he had lots of amazing stories to share with the students, many of whom would love to follow in his footsteps and have a career in that field."
