Basic Bicycle Maintenance

Course Overview

This course is designed for cycling enthusiasts and aims to give a good level of mechanical ability to maintain a bicycle.

It will give you the confidence to carry out repairs and servicing whilst also teaching you when you need to see a more experienced trained technician.

This course includes:
• Headsets
• Bottom brackets
• Drive trains
• Gear set-up
• Brakes
• Hubs
• Tyres and tubes

Entry Requirements

No formal entry requirements.

Course Delivery

The course will be delivered in our new specialised facility.

Delivery will be in the evening or over a short number of days.

Progression Opportunities

If you are interested in gaining a formal qualification, you can progress onto a Cytech Technical level one course.

Additional Information

Bicycle and tools will be provided for the duration of the course.
