Course Overview
This course provides full practical training and assessment in the areas of assembly, set-up and ongoing servicing and maintenance.
What does this course include?
- Health and safety in the workshop
- Headsets, gears, rim brakes, hubs and bearings
- Introduction to disc brakes and hydraulic bleeding
- Internal hub gears
- Wheel truing and spoke replacement
- Wheel building

Entry Requirements
You will need to have completed Professional Bicycle Maintenance Level 1. We do offer a combined Professional Bicycle Maintenance Level 1 and 2 (two weeks delivery).
Course Delivery
The course will be delivered in our new specialised facility. The course duration is one week, Monday to Friday.
Assessment will take place at a later date (by an external company called Activate Cycle Academy) to Cytech Level 2. The assessor will visit our training facility to carry out the assessment. This date will be given during the training.

We also deliver Advanced E-bike maintenance courses.
Additional Information
