Overview

Our courses in professional accountancy are accredited by the ACCA and we are a Platinum Approved Learning Partner. We are currently the only Further Education Centre in the UK to hold this level of tuition. They are designed to provide the knowledge, skills and professional values which will develop accounting professionals to build success careers; whether they work in the public or private sector, practice in an accounting organisation or pursue a career in business.

Key information

Ideally, students should have one or two GCSE Grades A-C however, common sense and an aptitude for numbers and estimation are more important. Open to students of all ages

FA – Financial Accounting - Learn the underlying principles and concepts of financial accounting, accounting techniques and the preparation of basic financial statements. You'll demonstrate technical proficiency in the use of double-entry techniques, including the preparation and interpretation of basic financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, companies and simple groups of companies.

All tuition is based around classroom lectures by highly qualified and experienced members of staff.

Formal examinations are offered on demand.

Students will be able to study and progress to other ACCA papers BT, MA, LW, PM, FR, TX, AA, FM SBL & SBR, plus optional subjects. After completion of FM, an optional degree can be obtained through Oxford Brookes University. The college can offer a mentoring service for this qualification which is currently £500.
