Overview
This 15 month course provides an understanding of health and social care and will enable you to focus on the following areas:
- Employment rights and responsibilities
- Communication and application of number in care settings
- Health and wellbeing.
Key information
Employment within the sector for a minimum of six months. The level of learning will depend on your experience and responsibilities that you have within your job role
Attend college every two weeks for the duration of the programme (two days per month) with continuous assessment in the workplace
Further study at university in a related subject such as nursing. Progression to higher level courses such as a Higher National Diploma (HND) or Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF).
