Overview
During this one year course you will develop your advanced hairdressing skills, working on clients in a commercial salon environment. This qualification includes all the required elements to work effectively as an advanced hairdresser.
Areas of study include:
- Health and safety
- Client consultation
- Creative cutting
- Creatively colour hair
- Creatively style hair
- Promotional.
This course is not running at the moment .
Key information
- A minimum of three GCSEs grade C or above including Mathematics and English Language.
- Level 2 Diploma in Hairdressing
- Good basic hairdressing skills and a good understanding of hairdressing theory
- Highly motivated and passionate about the industry.
Assessments are continuous throughout the year to include practical observations and written tests and assignments.
Employment opportunities include working as a stylist in a commercial salon, cruise ships, salon owner.
Learners will be required to purchase a kit, uniform and stationery. Costs will be discussed at the interview.
