Introduction to Hospitality and Catering Entry Level 3 
Overview
Gain an introduction to the catering and hospitality industry through the preparation and cooking of dishes, along with food and beverage service in our training restaurant, the Vanilla Pod. You will also complete theory-based assignments and develop your literacy and numeracy skills as part of the course.
Key information
- No formal qualifications are required
- You will be required to attend an interview and a taster session prior to being offered a place.
You will be continually assessed, through a combination of practical tasks, written assignments, and course booklets.
Opportunities to progress on to Level 1 Diploma Professional Cookery and Catering and Level 2 Diploma Professional Cookery and Catering.
Alternatively, develop your experience and skills further with employment as a catering assistant or kitchen assistant.
You will be required to buy specialist uniform and equipment. (Approximately £250).
