Gower College Swansea commended in the Association of Colleges Beacon Awards (AoC)

Gower College Swansea has been commended for its best practice and innovation in two separate categories in the 2022/23 Association of Colleges (AoC) Beacon Awards.

The Association of Colleges’ Beacon Awards celebrate the best and most innovative practice among UK Colleges. They are awarded every year by AoC to provide recognition for excellence while acknowledging the talents of staff at all levels. They highlight the breadth and quality of education in the College sector.

Gower College Swansea’s commendations are for:

• The City & Guilds Award for College Engagement with Employers, sponsored by City & Guilds, which seeks to recognise and celebrate exemplary practice in the delivery of provision and responsiveness to the needs of employers.
• The British Council Award for Internationalism, sponsored by the British Council, which seeks to celebrate an outstanding example of a College’s international work.
