Important information for our Gorseinon neighbours re: Campus extension and refurbishment plans

Dear resident, you will hopefully be aware of Gower College Swansea’s intention to further develop its Gorseinon campus through extending one of its existing buildings, as well as the refurbishment of a number of existing classrooms.  We are also planning to improve the existing traffic management layout, as well as widening the access onto Belgrave Road which we believe will help to reduce any congestion at the entrance and improve safety.

Our plan is to shortly submit a planning application to the Council which, if successful, would allow us to carry out this work, but prior to doing so we are actively consulting with staff, students, stakeholders as well as yourselves, our local residents.

However, in addition we are holding a presentation evening on Wednesday 7 December at 6pm in the College (Gorseinon Campus) which you are most welcome to attend and where you can meet and speak to College managers, project managers, designers etc working on these proposals to find out more details and to get answers to any questions that you may have.
