Gower College Swansea to host inspiring girls-only event on International Women in Engineering Day
Gower College Swansea is proud to host a dedicated girls-only taster day aimed at inspiring the next generation of female engineers.
Taking place on Wednesday 25 June, which is also International Women in Engineering Day, this taster event will welcome around 60 pupils from Dylan Thomas and Bishopston Comprehensive schools for a full day of hands-on exploration across various engineering disciplines.

Landscaping and Horticulture students at Gower College Swansea have benefited from a unique working partnership with Swansea University over recent months.
The learners have been working alongside the Grounds Maintenance team at the Singleton Campus to carry out a range of practical jobs such as turf laying, weeding, flower bed preparation, watering and planting containers for a seasonal display.

Inspirational educators win national teaching award for transformative work
A teaching team from Gower College Swansea has been recognised with a Silver Award for Further Education Team of the Year in this year's Pearson National Teaching Awards.
