Last week saw the opening of the annual Creative Arts Exhibition, which showcased work from A2 Creative Arts students studying A Level Fine Art, Photography, Graphics and Textiles Design. Every student completing their A Level course had work featured in the exhibition, providing an opportunity to celebrate the culmination of their commitment and hard work throughout the year.
Achievement awards were presented across each subject area. Recipients included Seren O'Sullivan and Evie Morgan (Fine Art), Jack Hopkins and Maya Brook (Photography), Elis Jenkins and Cari Davies (Graphics), and Ella Williams and Mickey Laparojkit (Textiles Design).
This year also saw the introduction of a special award in memory of former Art Technician Denise Thorrington. The award was presented to Ella Williams in recognition of her outstanding commitment to Textiles Design.
The exhibition was a fantastic evening, bringing together students, staff, family and friends to celebrate the creative journeys of our learners. It was a fitting showcase of the exceptional talent within the Creative Arts department and a proud moment for everyone involved.
Congratulations to all our students on their outstanding achievements.
