- Biological, Behavioural, Psychodynamic, Cognitive and Positive Approaches
- Classic research studies by e.g. Bowlby, Raine et al, Loftus and Palmer
- Research methodologies and data analysis
- Debates and Controversies in Psychology
- Explanations and treatments of Schizophrenia, Stress and Criminal Behaviour.

Key information
- A minimum of seven GCSE’s grades A*-C
- B grades in GCSE English Language, Mathematics and Science essential.
Assessment is through end of year exams.
Year 1:
- Unit 1 – 20% Past to Present
- Unit 2 – 20% Using Psychological Concepts.
Year 2:
- Unit 3 – 40% The study of Behaviours
- Unit 4 – 20% Applied Research Methods.
