Overview
This course is suitable for those looking to work in the Cycle Maintenance industry or those who are already employed within the industry and looking to achieve formal qualifications.
Modules include:
- Bike set up, adjustment and frame alignment
- Handsets, gears, rim brakes – removal, fitting, set-up and adjustment
- Brake discs and hydraulic bleeding
- Wheel building
- Suspension servicing
- E-bike knowledge
- Health & Safety
- Workshop practices
- Customer Service skills
- Business Skills
- Selling Skills.
Key information
The course is delivered in our specialist Cycle Maintenance workshop.
You will attend College two days per month and the remainder of the time will be spent in the relevant workplace.
Assessments will be carried out in our workshop and may also be carried out in your workplace.
Level 3 Cytech Profession qualification.
You will need safety shoes.
